Very happy with Aquatabs Marine. The instructions on the bottle were a bit tricky to read, but the Aquamarine website had tons of information. Their customer service was very responsive, guiding me to the recommended test strips and flow meter. With those additions, this product works like a charm

It's never a bad thing to have a bottle of purification tablets on hand for emergencies. Always a great idea to filter and/or boil, too, but in a pinch, purification tablets work well to kill all the nasties in the event that filtering and/or boiling isn't an option.

Added tablet to a five gallon jug and left it to sit awhile before taste testing it - not much aftertaste, assuming it is doing the job!

Absolutely required to have on hand when things go wrong--badly wrong. This is an excellent start out kit with test strips to ensure your vital drinking water supply is safe and potable. Whether for camping, boating, emergencies, bug-out bags, whatever. This is simply irreplaceable for survival.

I've used Aquatabs before while hiking. Those worked well, but only treated one liter at a time and did not come with test strips.These are for treating larger volumes of water (4 gal. each tablet) The kit comes with a flow meter to gauge how much water you've added to your tank, and test strips which are easy to use.Simple to use and easy to verify with the included test strips, this is a nice kit to get you started.

This water purification set comes with several components. One is a water meter that is battery operated. It takes a 2032 button battery which is included. This meter will measure how much water passes through it. It is included with this water purification system, but the paperwork that comes with it says that it is designed for gardening only. It has a minimum flow rate of 52 gallons per minute. This meter connects to a hose on both ends - it has a male end and female end. It has buttons on the front that will reset the counter so that you can know how many gallons have been used.The rest of the items in this kit are actually for purifying water. It comes with a bottle of 100 Aquatabs for purifying the water. It also comes with 50 test strips to check for free chlorine in the water. The free chlorine present at a specified level is how to tell that water has been purified. These test strips have a range scale printed on the side of the bottle that shows what range is acceptable.There is also a 2 oz plastic cup that can be used for taking a water sample for testing. This is a great kit to have for emergencies, on a boat, or when camping.

This is a small bottle of water purification tablets to use in emergency situations. One tablet can begin to purify a large amount of drinking water, and these bottles contain 100 of them. By reading the directions you can see how to use these small tablets to clean water of any germs or fungus inside. It is very nice to have a product like this on hand for any emergencies or utility disruption. They work well. We sampled one pill. We dropped it into a water bottle and drank it afterwards just to see how it would taste and it was totally fine, tasted just like tap water!

Once the system is checked and freed of any microorganisms this kit keeps the potable water tasting fresh and clean without any noticeable chemically smell or taste. Each treatment tab is rated to treat 4 gallons of water so this is a 400 gallon treatment kit with tabs and test strips being the only replacement consumables needed. So far this is a good value for the price.

These purification tablets are definite must have for anyone who engages in outdoor adventure, travel and or being prepared to survive natural or man-made disasters! Also, love the fact that these are not made in China, the fact that they're made in Ireland gives you a little bit more peace of mind.

I ordered these just in case I need to purify water in. SHTF scenario. 1 tablet will purify 4 gallons of water and at 100 tablets in the container, that's 400 gallons of water. There are plenty of resources online to show how to use these tablets in an emergency situation. Worth the money for peace of mind.

I use these in my long term water storage tanks. Water stays safe and fresh for a long time. Value is better than my local marine and outdoor stores by a wide margin.

I've been buying the individual blister pack Aquatabs for years - I used to live in earthquake country so keeping these around in case of emergency was necessary. With these larger ones, having the option to sanitize up to 4 gallons with each tablet is quite nice - I actually think this is preferable for home emergency use because you can drink, cook, and wash with it. I have tested Aquatabs before for flavor and odor, and it's basically no different than plain old tap water.Aquatabs are widely trusted by campers, hikers, NGOs and many others as an effective, reliable means of purifying water for drinking and cooking. It's worth checking out their website for additional info and instructions, but other than portable water filters, these are my go to for water purification.Great product, one that I trust with my life. I will definitely be getting these again.

I ordered these Aquatab drinking water purification tablets to have on hand for camping, and in case there is a drinking water emergency in the future, where my usual source of water (city tap water) becomes contaminated.The bottle is 100ct, and each tab is stated to purify 4 gallons of water. At their current price of $29.99, this is ~$0.30/tab. It is nice to see that they are produced in Ireland, which gives peace of mind as to the chemical content of the tabs. The packaging is compact and sealed well, with a plastic‚ peel-off-type sealing ring around the bottom of the cap.I have pictured the bottle next to two very common items people will be familiar with, a Chick-Fil-A sauce packet, and an average-sized lime (Persian, not Key lime). The bottle takes up very little space, being equivalent in size to a small bottle of Advil. The tabs have a listed expiration date of 11/2025. The product images and description states, 2 year shelf life, so that lines up with an 11/2023 production. I hope that they will be effective beyond that date, but I do not know.
